A woman found herself behind bars after commenting on her own ‘Most Wanted’ post
(Picture: Shutterstock / Dan Henson)An Oklahoma woman set herself up after commenting on her own ‘Most Wanted’ Facebook post — and subsequently found herself behind bars.
Tulsa Police Department took to their 194,849 Facebook followers on Wednesday to seek out the whereabouts of Lorraine Graves. She was wanted as an alleged accessory to murder after detectives said she was associated with the shooting of Eric Graves back in March.
The post read: “Lorraine Graves is charged with Accessory to Murder. Detectives say she was involved in the city’s 10th homicide of 2021 where Eric Graves was shot and killed at the St. Thomas Square Apartments.”
Followers were urged people to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers if they had any information on the woman — but they didn’t get that far.
Just hours later, the ‘wanted’ woman herself commented on the department’s Facebook post to ask about the reward money.
“Where’s the reward money at,” Lorraine apparently said in a since-deleted comment.
One user commented: “giiiiirl you better stay off social media they can track you!!”
While a second said: “Lorraine Graves aint [sic] gonna be as funny when you get processed.”
The following day, detectives arrested Graves around 4:30 PM in North Tulsa. This prompted a follow-up Facebook post from the police department’s official page.
The post received over a thousand mixed comments. One user joked: “Oh look a FB Star is born”.
Another Facebook user was still in shock: “Wait, she used her real name to ask about a non-existent reward?”
While a third pointed out: “Play stupid games; Win stupid prizes”.
Graves was charged with being an accessory to murder with a bond set at $500,000.
