Woman appeals for help after stolen car spotted in Dublin as owner receives 'toll charge'

A Carlow woman has appealed to the public for help after her car was stolen and may have been spotted in Dublin.

Nikita Doran's silver Volkswagen Polo was stolen from outside her home in Tullow, Co Carlow on November 20. She recently got a toll charge saying that the car was "in Dublin on the M50."

According to Nikita, her car was stolen at approximately 8:30am on Sunday, November 20. She wrote on Facebook: "If anyone has any information that could help or seen anything or anyone acting suspicious can you please let me know.

"Someone knows something. Also broke into my home and robbed personal items, right before Christmas as well people have no morals or respect anymore," she added.

Nikita asked Dublin Live to share the image of the car and for anyone with information to please get in contact.

The car is a silver Volkswagen Polo and its registration plates read 11D60067.

A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating the theft of a vehicle outside a residence in Tullow, Co. Carlow in the early hours of the 20th November 2022.

"Investigations are ongoing at this time."
