Woman and youth rushed to hospital after collision between jeep and scrambler in Finglas

A woman and youth were rushed to hospital yesterday evening after a collision between a jeep and a scambler in North Dublin.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Ratoath Road in Finglas where a woman in her 40s and young man were injured.

A garda spokesman told Dublin Live that neither person's injuries are life-threatening and that their investigation is still ongoing.

He said: "Gardai are investigating a collision between a jeep and scrambler motor bike that occurred  in the Ratoath Road area of Finglas on 19/9/19 at approximately 7:15pm.

"The driver of the jeep, a woman in her 40s, and a youth were taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with non-life threatening injuries.

"Investigations are ongoing."
