Two men and a woman who suffered stab wounds after a row at a house party are refusing to cooperate with police.
Officers were called out to Westhead Avenue in Kirkby during the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the scene, a 27-year-old man was found with slash wounds to his back, neck and face.
A 22-year-old woman had also suffered from a cut wound to her head, while another man,19, was found nearby with a stab wound to his upper arm.
The 27-year-old man man and woman were both taken to hospital for treatment. The 19-year-old man refused medical treatment.
Today police have told the ECHO that the two men and woman have refused to cooperate with police.
Police have said that there was a party at a house on Westhead Avenue where a row broke out.
This was followed by a disturbance in the street.
The force has appealed for information which is believe to have happened at around 3am Sunday.
