Woman and two children seriously injured in Aberdeen car crash

A woman and two young children have been seriously injured in a car crash in Aberdeenshire .

Paramedics raced to the scene of the two-vehicle crash, involving a black Honda Accord and a white Honda CR-V, on the A92 at 12.45pm on Tuesday.

A 34-year-old woman, four-year-old child and six-year-old child were all rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

They remain at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary .

A 30-year-old man and a seven-year-old girl also sustained minor injuries and were discharged from hospital last night.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the accident.

Constable Matthew Lawson from the Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and I would urge anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, or who witnessed the collision, and has not already spoken to police to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1559 of 15 October.
