Woman and two children found dead in Dublin suffered 'violent deaths' as major investigation launched

A woman and two children who were found dead in Dublin this morning suffered violent deaths, gardai believe.

Investigators are treating the three deaths as suspicious and are currently following a definite line of inquiry.

The tragic discovery was made at a house in Llewellyn Court, Ballinteer.

While the investigation is in its early stages, the deaths are being treated as suspicious.

Speaking about the heartbreaking discovery earlier, a garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of an incident at a residential property in South Dublin where the bodies of two children and an adult have been discovered.

"There is no further information available at this time."
