Two people have died in separate road accidents in Co Tipperary.
A woman has died after collision between a car and a truck in the early hours of this morning.
The accident took place at Dovea, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on the N62, Thurles to Templemore Road.
At around 2.30am a male truck driver in his mid 40s was involved in a crash with a car.
The driver of the car, a woman in her mid 60s, was killed and her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick, where a post mortem will take place.
The driver of the truck wasn't injured.
The Garda Collision Investigators are currently at scene and the road remains closed at this time with local diversions in place.

Separately in Clonmel, a man in his early 50s died after a female car driver in her early 70s struck a pole which hit him on the street.
The injured man was removed from the scene and taken to the South Tipperary Hospital.
He sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning Saturday, 17th August, 2019.
The Garda Collision Investigators have concluded their investigations at scene, and the road has now reopened.
