Two people, including a child, have been airlifted to hospital after becoming injured in a fall on rocks in Gower.
Rescuers from HM Coastguard Mumbles were called to Rotherslade, at the end of Langland Bay, shortly before 2pm on Sunday, January 2 after a woman sustained a head injury while climbing rocks on the beach.
On arrival, coastguard rescuers assisted the woman and gave her medical care, with dramatic images showing the coastguard helicopter winching her to safety.

"Thank you for your swift attendance on our first joint call-out of 2022.
"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery and also thank the members of the public for their cooperation during the rescue."

A further statement from Mumbles Lifeboat RNLI said: "At 4pm our volunteer crews of both lifeboats were called to assist three casualties on the rocks between Langland and Rotherslade.
"The report from UK Coastguard at Milford Haven was to assist two children and one adult suffering a head injury and cut off by the tide.
"Both boats proceeded with best speed along with Coastguard Helicopter 187 and Mumbles Coastguard Cliff Rescue team.
"Following an assessment from the UK Coastguard helicopter paramedic all casualties were winched to safety by the helicopter while safety cover was operated by both boats and Mumbles Cliff rescue team.
"Both boats returned to station."
The statement comes after locals said they spotted a "dramatic sea rescue" at Langland Bay.
Witness Anthony Dyke, from Newton, snapped photos from the scene and said: "The coastguards cordoned off Rotherslade for a while in the event the helicopter or lifeboat had to land on the beach."
