Woman allegedly threatened by driver while taking out cash outside Morpeth supermarket

A woman was allegedly threatened outside a supermarket in Morpeth .

Shortly before 5pm on Thursday, a woman said she was getting money out from an ATM at Morrison's on Dark Lane.

It was reported a black Vauxhall Astra then pulled up alongside her.

Another woman allegedly shouted threatening comments to her before driving away.

Northumbria Police is investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information, or may have witnessed the incident, to get in touch.
