A woman was airlifted to hospital with a head injury after falling near a rocky, coastal verge in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency crews were called to Portsoy, close to the village's former sea water outdoor swimming pool at 3.40am on Thursday August 19.
Police were first alerted to the incident after reports of 'concern for a person'.
Air ambulance and coastguard helicopters also attended.
Volunteers from RNLI Macduff were called at 7.15am to assist with the operation.

The woman, aged 44, was treated ashore then airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
RNLI reported that she suffered a head injury.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland told the Daily Record that her 'injuries are not believed to be life-threatening'

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not disclosed.
It read: "Our volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard in Aberdeen to a female who had fallen near to the old pool at Portsoy.
"We arrived on scene at 7:15am and were requested to provide casualty care.
"Two crew members were put ashore and provided casualty care to the female who had sustained a head injury in the fall.
"The casualty was stabilised and made ready to be airlifted directly to hospital by the Coastguard helicopter."
Police Scotland confirmed their attendance
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to the Portsoy area around 3.40am following reports of concern for a person.
“A 44-year-old woman was located near the Old Portsoy swimming pool, and was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to her injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.”
HM Coastguard confirmed their attendance from around 7am on Thursday to assist.
A spokesman told the Record: "From 7am today Buckie and MacDuff Coastguard Rescue Teams, Macduff RNLI lifeboat and the coastguard helicopter from Inverness were sent to assist following a report of an incident at Portsoy, Aberdeenshire.
"Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service were also in attendance."
