A woman has been airlifted to hospital after a horror crash on a Scots road.
Cops raced to the smash on the A828, near Appin, at around 3.40pm on Tuesday, September 7.
The collision involved two vehicles on the busy route.
One woman was rushed to Oban Hospital by air ambulance, while another woman was taken to Belford Hospital.
The road remains closed this evening following the earlier collision.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 3.40pm on Tuesday, 7 September, 2021 following the report of a two vehicle road crash on the A828, near Appin.
"Emergency services attended and one woman was taking by air ambulance to Oban Hospital and another woman was taken to Belford hospital for treatment of injuries.
"The road is currently closed."
