A motorised scooter rider is in a serious but stable condition after being involved in a collision with a vehicle at Smiths Lake on Friday night
The incident occurred at the corner of Macwood Road and The Lakes Way about 9pm.
Three NSW Ambulance crews responded, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter's specialist medical team.
The 28-year-old female scooter rider suffered serious leg and head injuries.
She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said on Saturday she was in a serious but stable condition.
