A young woman who was airlifted to hospital after a freak crash in Co Donegal on Friday afternoon has died in hospital.
The incident happened on the N15 at Ardnawark near Barnesmore Gap at around 3.45pm.
The woman, who is in her late 20s, was a passenger in a bus when she fell from the moving vehicle.
She was then struck by a passing vehicle.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the woman was subsequently transported to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin via helicopter for treatment.
However, she passed away a few hours later on Friday evening.
Gardai say that a post mortem examination will take place in due course.
The road is currently closed with local diversions in place.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will conduct their examination of the scene on Saturday morning.
They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

It comes as gardai continue to appeal for witnesses to contact them after a three-car pile-up in Co Galway on Thursday left one man dead and three women injured.
The collision happened just before 1pm at the intersection of the M6 and M17.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved, a man in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in his car, a woman in her 80s, was rushed to Galway University Hospital with serious injuries.
Two women, aged in their 20s and 60s, who were driving the other two cars were also taken to the same hospital for treatment.
Two women remained in hospital on Friday afternoon.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí investigating this three car collision are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling on the East or Westbound lanes of the M6 between 12.40pm and 1pm on Thursday August 12 and who may have witnessed this collision to make contact with them.
"In particular Gardaí are appealing to any road users who were on the road during this period who may have video footage (including dash-cam footage) to make this footage available to Gardaí.
