Woman aged 69 left with serious head injuries after Leeds city centre collision

A woman aged 69 has been taken to hospitals with serious head injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Leeds city centre.

Police and paramedics were called to the collision on Quebec Street at 4.07pm.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman told Leeds Live the woman was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

Metro Travel tweeted that Quebec Street (City Loop Road) was closed due to a Police incident - with delays likely to all city centre services.

However police say the road has now been reopened.
