A horrified woman who claims she has no idea how a racy sex toy made its way into her online basket says her family are about to collect it while she's on holiday.
The mum placed her order with Boots to make sure she had some essentials for when she got home.
Double checking she had ordered enough baby food, she was stunned to see something else on her purchase confirmation - and then remembered who would be there to collect it.
The British woman took to Reddit to come clean and ask for some advice.
Titling her post "I accidentally ordered a dildo and my whole family will be there when I click&collect it" - she received plenty of sympathy but not many useful ideas with her order already on the way.
She explained: "I ordered a big click and collect shop with Boots to get baby food/formula/sun cream etc and collect it at the airport Boots after security to avoid the baggage weight.
"My parents and grandma are coming with us and we have organised to open the order and decant into several carrier bags so that we all have small bags of baby stuff, and are more likely to be allowed it on the plane than one person have a huge box/bag.
"I just got an email to say my order is ready, scrolled down out of curiosity and to remind myself what I ordered and there it is… a bloody dildo amongst all of the baby food.
"I had been browsing a few weeks ago and somewhat entertained the idea of anonymously buying a sex toy and collecting from a nearby boots… so I must not have removed it from my basket.
"Although, halfway through filling up my basket online, it declared itself empty so I had to start again. I definitely didn’t add said dildo to the order again, so god knows how it made its way there!
"Anyway, I wonder who will end up flying this to Spain for me, Mum? Dad? Grandma? Wish me luck!"
One person told her: "You need to look shocked, then say “that’s the weirdest substitution I’ve ever seen. Does anyone have the number for a local paper?”
Another said: "Buy an airport Toblerone, eat a few triangles, then hide the dildo in the box."
A third cheeky poster put: "Sounds like grandmas got an exciting holiday gift."
