An elderly woman suffered a bleed on the brain after being hit by a car in south Bristol.
The 85-year-old is in hospital after being seriously injured.
The incident happened at around 11.35am on Monday (December 2) on King's Head Lane in Bedminster Down.
A blue Ford Fiesta hit the woman.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers are reviewing CCTV from the area and carrying out house to house enquiries.
