Woman, 81, who went missing on tram to Altrincham found

A woman who met missing on a Manchester tram has been found.

Shu Yiu Dam Hsu, 81, got separated from her husband at Cornbrook Metrolink Interchange on a tram heading towards Altrincham at around 1.30pm yesterday.

At around 11.30pm last night, police officers desperately appealed for anybody who has seen her to get in touch on Twitter.

But in an update this morning, Greater Manchester Police thanked everybody for sharing the appeal, saying she has now been found safe and well.
