An 81-year-old woman has finally met her 103-year-old mum for the first time after a 60-year hunt.
Eileen Macken, who grew up in an orphanage in Dublin, was reunited with mother Elizabeth for the first time since she was an infant.
A moving picture shows the two smiling and embracing after Eileen made the journey from Ireland to Scotland to meet her.
She had spent more than six decades searching for her birth mother, and was stunned to learn she was still alive earlier this year.
Eileen said she has never been happier.
She told RTE News : "I went over to see her and she's the most beautiful lady, lovely family, they gave me a great welcome."

And she continued: "I don't think I'll ever come down out of the cloud."
During her three-day journey she also discovered she has two half-brothers.
Eileen said there was "such a bond" between herself and her mother after their meeting.
Elizabeth will turn 104 on Saturday.
Eileen, who grew up in Kirwan House orphanage on the North Circular Road, began searching for her mum when she was 19.
She told Joe Duffy on RTE Radio One on Thursday: “I can't believe it, when I got the word that she was alive, all I want to do is to meet her."
She got in touch with the radio show last year asking for help to track down her relatives.
"I was very upset that I was still on this planet and not having even one relative," she said at the time.
Her search finally gathered speed when "an excellent" genealogist got in touch with her and "worked tirelessly" to find her blood relatives.
