A woman has been found dead on a property in the New South Wales south-east, in what police say is a suspected shooting murder.
Meanwhile, police discovered the body of a 76-year-old man who was known to the woman, in the small village of Lue, south-east of Mudgee.
The 76-year-old woman's body was found by police on a property at Olinda, also near Mudgee, just after 10:00pm on Friday.
The man is yet to be formally identified, but his death is not believed to be suspicious.
A police investigation is underway and a crime scene was established.
Mudgee Local Area Command and the Homicide Squad are asking anyone with information about either incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
A report will be prepared for the coroner about both deaths.
