A woman was killed in a vehicle crash Thursday in south suburban Midlothian.

The crash happened about 7:45 p.m. in the 14400 block of Kenton Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The 75-year-old woman, who lived in Worth, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she was pronounced dead at 8:24 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy released Friday found she died of blunt force injuries from a motor vehicle collision.

Midlothian police did not respond to a request for comment Friday evening.
