A woman from Nottingham has died following a multi-vehicle crash.

The emergency services were called to the A52 near Osbournby, Lincolnshire, at about 5.30pm on Saturday, May 1, following reports of a collision involving three cars.

The incident involved a grey Mini Cooper S, a red Audi S3 and a grey Ford Fiesta and happened between the roundabout with the A15 and the turning for Scott Willoughby.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "Sadly, a 75-year-old woman from Nottingham who was travelling in one of the cars was fatally injured in the collision.

"We would like to hear from anyone who saw any of the vehicles prior to the incident, or anyone who has any information or dashcam footage that might assist the investigation."

All the vehicles were travelling in the same direction at the time of the incident, from the east to the west along the A52.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 353 of May 1.
