Woman, 72, missing from Humboldt Park safely located

A 72-year-old woman who was reported missing from Humboldt Park on the West Side has been safely located.

Elvira Matos was last seen about 7 a.m. Friday when she went for a walk in the 3400 block of LeMoyne Street and never returned, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

Chicago police canceled the alert about 10:50 p.m. Friday stating that Matos had been safely located.
