An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a woman was robbed at an ATM in the east end of Glasgow.
The 69-year-old had been at a cash machine outside the post office on Edinburgh Road, near to Carntynehall Road, when she was approached by a woman who tried to grab her hand and take money from her.
The incident happened on Monday, April 15 at 10.30am.
The victim managed to defend herself and the woman then ran off on foot empty handed.
The suspect is described as being in her late 20s, early 30s of slim build, with brown hair that was in a ponytail.
She was wearing a pink top and white trousers and white trainers.

Constable Amina Iqbal, from the Community Investigation Unit, said: "Although nobody was physically injured, and nothing was stolen, this incident was terrifying for this woman who was only going about her daily business.
“Nobody should feel unsafe in their community and we thank the 69 year-old woman for coming forward to report this to police later that day.
“Our officers are currently checking CCTV and making door to door enquiries to trace the person responsible.
“We would advise anyone using an ATM to be vigilant and keep an eye out for people who may be standing close beside you. If you have any concerns please report them to police.”
