Woman, 69, missing from South Chicago

Helene Romeus

A 69-year-old woman has been reported missing from South Chicago.

Helene Romeus was last seen June 6 in the area of the 8100 block of South Coles Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police. She only speaks French.

She is 5-foot-3, 260 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater over a long purple dress.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
