Woman, 69, in 'critical condition' after being hit by a car in south Harrow

A 69-year-old woman is in a “critical condition” after being hit by a car in South Harrow.

The incident took place just after 6am on Saturday on Eastcote Lane, Met Police said.

The pedestrian, a 69-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. She remains in a critical condition.

Police said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping officers with their enquiries, which are ongoing.

No arrests have been made.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the collision and would like to hear from anyone in the area who witnessed what happened or might have caught dash cam footage of the incident, or the time leading up to it.

They have been advised to call police on 101 or call the witness line directly on 020 8246 9820 quoting the reference 1569/21JUN.
