A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle last week in west suburban Forest Park.
A 67-year-old woman was involved in the crash about 5 p.m. Aug. 16 at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Des Plaines Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
She was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where she died two days later on Aug. 18, the medical examiner’s office said.
An autopsy performed Monday found she died of multiple injuries from a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian.
Forest Park police did not respond Monday evening to a request for further details.
