Woman,57, held after two police officers were injured

A 57-year-old woman has been arrested after two police officers were hurt.

She allegedly resisted arrest after a breach of the peace in Paisley's Gallowhill.

The incident happened in Montgomery Avenue around 8.30pm last night.

A spokeswoman for Paisley Police said: "Both officers suffered minor injuries."

The woman was taken into custody pending an appearance at Paisley Sheriff Court.
