Woman,52, assaulted and now a 34-year-old female arrested

A woman was the victim of an alleged attack by another female in a housing scheme.

It led to the arrest of a 34-year-old following an incident in Ferguslie Park, Paisley.

Police said it happened around 8pm on Wednesday night in Candren Road.

The lady who was assaulted was 52 and she suffered no injuries.

The 34-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault and a breach of the peace.

Paisley police confirmed the woman was reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
