Police are investigating the death of a 48-year-old woman.
Police were called to the property at Rhydybont, Penparcau in Aberystwyth by the ambulance service shortly before 9pm on Thursday, June 20.
Following a post-mortem examination, the cause of the woman’s death is unknown.
A 40-year-old man, who was arrested at the property on June 20, has been charged with the breach of a restraining order and today (June 22) sentenced to 16 weeks in prison for the offence.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Her next of kin is aware of this development, and our thoughts are with them at this time.
"The investigation in to the woman’s death is ongoing. People living in the Penparcau area of Aberystwyth might be aware of a higher than usual police presence as officers work to establish the events leading up to her death."
