Rebecca Jackson, 44, of Radford Boulevard, gained entry into the flat by going through the communal doors, before forcing her way into the flat which was on the top floor, and searching through the property.

Following a forensic investigation, Jackson was arrested and later charged.

Jackson pleaded guilty at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court and was sentenced to a community order to run for 12 months, ordered to undergo 12 days of rehabilitation and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £90 and £85 court costs.

Detective Constable Colin Kirkup, of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Jackson’s behaviour was unacceptable and caused distress to the victim. I am pleased with the result.”
