Woman, 40s, charged after Gardai find heroin worth €2,500 and crossbow in Dublin home

A woman in her 40s has been charged after gardai found heroin worth €2,500 and a crossbow in a house in Dublin's north inner city.

Gardai made the startling discovery during a search of the home in the Summerhill area on Tuesday night.

The drugs with an estimated street value of approximately €2,500 and the deadly weapon were seized during the search.

Both items are now the subject of a technical examination, Dublin Live reports.

The woman was arrested at the scene and has since been charged in relation to the incident.

She is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday morning at 10.30am.
