Woman, 33, dies at Pontins sparking huge emergency service presence

A 33-year-old woman has died at Pontins after suffering a cardiac arrest.

North Wales Police have confirmed that the 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead today after falling ill at the Prestatyn holiday camp.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

This morning two ambulances and at least three police cars were spotted at the holiday camp, which is popular with Merseyside families.

A police spokesman told North Wales Live: "Police were called to Pontins holiday camp Prestatyn at 7.25am on Saturday 31 August 2019 by ambulance control to a report of a 33-year-old female in cardiac arrest at the location.

"Police and ambulance attended the location but despite their best efforts the female was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious however a post mortem will be conducted in due course."
