A 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a street attack which left a woman with a battered and bruised face at the weekend.
Andrena Wright was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to facial injuries after the alleged incident on Haywood Street in the Milton area of north Glasgow on Sunday evening.
Police have confirmed that a 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the serious assault.
She is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Friday, 13 November).
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm a 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a serious assault which happened in the Haywood Street area of Glasgow on Sunday 8 November, 2020.
"She is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Friday, 13 November). Enquiries are ongoing."
