Woman, 28, rushed to hospital with leg injury after Wetherby car crash

A woman had to be rushed to hospital with a leg injury after a car crash in Wetherby.

Police were dispatched just after 4am this morning after a silver Ford Focus crashed in York Road.

The collision happened between the junction of Orchard Avenue and The Beeches and there were no other vehicles involved.

A 28-year-old woman suffered leg injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital with police now appealing to the public for information about the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the early morning crash is urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting log 231 of July 13.
