The police have sent the dead body for autopsy. The incident took place on April 13 in Pilibhit city.

Rajini was married to one Pratap Singh (30) of Than Singh locality in Pilibhit city in February 2018 and was subjected to cruelty over dowry.

A written complaint was filed by the deceased's mother, Savitri Devi, a resident of Bisalpur city of the district.
