A woman who went missing from her parent's house was found after police discovered her car outside a supermarket.
Lauren Paterson, 26, vanished on Monday morning from her family home at Uddingston, near Glasgow.
Her disappearance triggered a massive campaign on social media, Daily Star reports.
Her friend raised the alarm when her car was found abandoned outside a supermarket.
The white Mercedes was discovered on Tuesday afternoon outside a branch of ScotMid near The Castle Rooms in Uddingston.
Pal Robyn posted on Facebook : "My friend Lauren Paterson has gone missing.
"She was last seen at 10am Monday morning at her parents' house in Uddingston.
"Her car was found Tuesday, a white Mercedes at ScotMid beside The Castle Rooms in Uddingston.
"If anyone has seen or heard from Lauren and has any information please get in touch ASAP."
But, she went on: "Would just like to clarify Lauren is still not home and her parents are still worried about her!
"She has been tracked by the police but has not returned home yet!
"Please Lauren come home! Your friends and family are worried sick!"
Later, Robyn updated her friends to say that "Lauren has now been found and is home! Thanks so much, everyone!"
Her cousin Craig Pringle tweeted: " Missing person Lauren Paterson last seen in Uddingston yesterday at Scotmid and The Castle Rooms. Can you please retweet and share."
Now Police Scotland have confirmed that she has been traced by police and found "safe and well".
