A woman was ejected from her vehicle and critically injured Monday on Lake Shore Drive in Hyde Park on the South Side.
She was driving a 2018 blue Chevrolet Malibu about 1:55 a.m. north in the 5700 block of South Lake Shore Drive when she struck a median, Chicago police said.
The woman, 25, was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said. No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
Chicago police’s major accidents unit is investigating, police said.
