Woman, 24, found dead at a home in Grangetown, Cardiff

Police have confirmed the sudden death of a 24-year-old woman at a house in Cardiff last night.

South Wales Police were called to a property on Ferry Road in Grangetown at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday night.

They said there were no suspicious circumstances and that the woman's next of kin had been informed.

One local resident said she woke up last night to see police and an ambulance outside the nearby house.

"I was asleep and got woken up about 11pm. My partner said they had been there ages and all the neighbours were out as well.

"It was calm but just a lot of neighbours on their doors watching.

"It is a big shock."
