A woman from Alabama was struck and killed by a vehicle in northwest suburban Elk Grove Village.
Stacy Jett, 24, was outside on May 28 when she was hit by a car in the 500 block of Busse Road, Elk Grove police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
She was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she died a week later on Tuesday, authorities said.
An autopsy released Wednesday found she died of multiple injuries from the crash, the medical examiner’s office said. She was a resident of Perryville, Alabama.
Elk Grove Village did not immediately reply with additional details.
