A murder probe has been launched after a 23-year-old woman was found dead in north London.
Emergency services were called to a property on Bollinder Place in Islington shortly after 9.30am on July 6.
Police attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found an unresponsive woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene despite best efforts of medical professionals.
Six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder, the Met Police has said.
They include four women - aged 20, 21, 23, and 26 - and two men, aged 21 and 24. All six have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
The woman has not yet been identified and police are trying to trace her next of kin.
Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart, who leads on policing in the local area, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young woman who has lost her life.
"We understand that news of an incident like this will cause concern within the local community. Local officers will continue to be visible in the area and are available to speak with residents who have questions or concerns.
"While enquiries remain ongoing, information available to us at this stage indicates this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public."
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our investigation is progressing at pace and detectives are working to establish exactly what happened in the time leading up to this woman's death.
"A number of people were arrested at the scene and have since been released on bail while enquiries continue. Officers have been carrying out forensic examinations, reviewing available evidence and speaking to witnesses to build a full picture of the circumstances.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation. No matter how insignificant it may seem, I would urge anyone with information to come forward and speak with us."
