Woman, 22, walking to pick up shopping for her gran was jumped by three men

A woman was left bleeding and with concussion after three men launched an unprovoked attack on her as she walked through a park to get shopping for her gran.

Courtney Hobin was cutting through Royton Park, in Oldham, to pick up some shopping for her grandma when the assault took place.

The 22-year-old noticed three men up ahead dressed in black hoodies and continued to walk through the park.

She said the three men then jumped on her, knocked her to the floor and ripped her hoodie.

They then kicked her in the face while she lay on the ground, leaving Courtney with cuts, bruises and pouring with blood.

The trio did not steal anything from Courtney and she said she has no idea why they launched the attack.

Courtney called a friend to take her to hospital and it was found she was suffering with concussion.

Images taken from after the attack show Courtney covered in blood, with cuts to her face and body.

"She cut through Royton Park and three lads in black hoodies were ahead, which was odd as it was 32C on Tuesday.

"They didn't take anything. She said 'why me, what did I do?'"

She said Courtney has been left feeling nauseous following the incident and has to wear a concussion band.

No arrests have been made and Courtney wants to warn other people walking in the park about the three men.
