A woman was rushed to hospital following an incident at a flat in Shettleston this morning.
Police swooped on the property on Shettleston Road around 4am following reports of an assault.
A 22-year-old woman suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police enquires are ongoing.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that officers attended the Shettleston Road area of Glasgow at around 4am on Friday 1 May, following a report of an assault.
"A 22-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries and enquiries remain ongoing."
