A woman glassed a Wetherspoons worker during a row over chicken in a basket, a court was told.
Hollie Crutchley, 22, hurled the gin glass at the woman after being told to pay for the chicken she had swiped from a nearby table and eaten.
The woman suffered a cut as she raised her arms to protect herself during the attack at a Wheatsheaf pub in Cheadle, Staffordshire.

Crutchey raged 'do you want to go?' before throwing her drink at the woman and launching the glass at her, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
The victim - an off-duty staff member - was taken to hospital where she received six stitches.
Crutchley, of Rugeley, Staffordshire, pleaded guilty to wounding and a judge sentenced her to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months.
Prosecutor Rachel Pennington said the defendant had taken a basket of chicken belonging to other customers off a table before eating the contents at around 9.30pm on August 24 last year.

The woman, who was socialising at the pub she worked at, suggested Crutchley should pay for the food.
Ms Pennington told Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court: "The defendant shouted, 'Do you want to go, do you want to go'?
"She picked up a drink and threw the glass and contents at her.
"Security went to intervene. The defendant picked up her drink in a gin glass and struck it out towards the woman. The complainant raised her arm to protect her face.
"The victim said the glass was thrown at her. She kept her arms raised. The glass smashed against her left arm."
Saleema Mahmood, mitigating, said the defendant is of previous good character.
"The glass was thrown. It was done recklessly. The injury was minimal," Ms Mahmood said.
"She is extremely remorseful."
Crutchley must complete a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days, 120 hours of unpaid work and pay her victim £500 compensation.
Judge David Fletcher said: "Your response to being challenged was to throw liquid at her. You picked up a second glass. It was reckless, foolish and extremely dangerous.
"It is a nasty injury.
"You expressed your remorse. You are of good character.
"You are in work. I hope the consequences of this will not affect your ability to continue with your chosen career."
