Bargain hunting when it comes to beauty isn't always the best idea, particularly when it comes to products for your skin , as one unlucky woman found out.
Navy Chandler, an aspiring comedian, was pleased with herself when she picked up a peel off face mask for just $1.99 (£1.49).
But after applying it, she soon found out why it had been so cheap.
Recording herself applying the product to her skin, the 20-year-old soon found herself in a whole world of pain as the face mask proved almost impossible to remove.
An hour passed and Navy was still clawing at her face, desperately trying to remove the glue-like substance.
Navy, from Wichita, Kansas, said: "It was my day off and I bought a cheap peel off mask and after letting it dry, when I went to take it off, my skin almost came off with it.

"On a scale of 1-10 of how hard it was to remove; I'd give it a solid 8.
"The pain was intense. It took all of the little hairs off my face, so it was like a full facial wax.
"It took me about an hour to fully get it off, that was because I took breaks too.

"I wouldn't say it helped but my face was baby bottom smooth and glowing after the red irritation faded.
"I would not recommend this to anybody but my enemies!"
It's certainly a less than cheap and cheerful isn't always the best way to go, although one woman proved quite the opposite earlier this week when she picked up a pair of bargain £8 curling tongs from Primark .

Sharing the snaps of her hair on Facebook , she soon picked up heaps of praise at how perfectly the heated tool had transformed her previously poker straight locks.
One fellow bargain hunter wrote: “I have these as well they’re excellent. My curls stay in for days.”
Another said: “I did the same. They're decent curlers.”
Included in the the Primark hair styling range are hair straighteners, hair dryers and dozens of styling products, priced as low as 60p.
