A woman in her 20s was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash this morning.
Emergency services raced to Riverside roundabout just off Jericho Lane in Otterspool after reports a rider had fallen from a motorcycle just before 9am.
Jericho Lane was blocked off in both directions allowing police and paramedics to deal with the incident.

Police said the woman, who was the motorcycle rider, "suffered an injury to her leg and will be taken to hospital."
North West Ambulance Service has now confirmed the woman in her 20s was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following the 999 call they received at 8.45am.
Following the road closure put in place on Jericho Lane up to the roundabout on Riverside Drive, the road and roundabout completely opened to traffic again just after 10am.
