A young couple accused of possessing a gun and ammunition in a north Liverpool home are set to stand trial.

Three people were arrested, including a 16-year-old boy, when police raided the house in Fazakerley last month.

Officers said they recovered a pistol and bullets stashed in a bag in a search at around 9.30am, on December 2 last year.
