A woman was in good condition after someone shot her Tuesday afternoon in Washington Park on the South Side.

The woman, 18, was shot in her thigh about 1:25 p.m. in the 300 block of East 56th Street, Chicago police said.

She was taken in good condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to police, who did not provide circumstances of the shooting.

Earlier Tuesday morning, a 2-year-old boy was shot in his head in a road-rage incident near Grant Park.
