Wolves winger in new £25m Liverpool claim as young defender drops transfer hint

As Liverpool supporters celebrate the news that manager Jurgen Klopp has committed his future to the club until 2026, attentions have quickly turned to the German's future transfer plans.

The Reds continue to fight for the Premier League title and the Champions League, as well as already reaching the FA Cup final and winning Carabao Cup. It is certainly a vintage time to be following Liverpool.

Here's a round-up of the latest transfers rumours on the world wide web, as players and agents jostle to become a part of Klopp's mentality monsters.

Who?

Adama Traore.

Where?

Nacional.

Why?

Liverpool have once again been linked with Wolves winger Adama Traore. The 26-year-old is currently on loan with Barcelona and the Catalan giants have the option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.

But according to Spanish outlet Nacional, Barca have no intention of paying the £25million fee required to take him out of the Premier League. Instead, the paper mentions that Klopp is interested in the player and would be willing to meet the asking price. It has also been reported that the player himself would welcome the shift to Anfield.

Who?

Calvin Ramsay.

Where?

Daily Express.

Why?

Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay has played down links with a move to Liverpool but admitted it was 'good' to be mentioned in the same breath as the Merseyside club and other top Premier League sides.

The Reds may be seeking cover at right-back for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the future of Neco Williams uncertain following his successful loan spell at Fulham. Ramsay recently won the Scottish Football Writers’ Young Player of the Year award following a stock-raising season of impressive displays.

The player himself has tried to play down the rumours. He said: “There has been quite a few clubs linked with me, in January as well. But, for me, I’m still an Aberdeen player, I’ve still got to focus on the four games left this season and keep putting in good performances if I can get myself back in the team. In the summer, we’ll see where it takes me.

“It’s good being linked with those clubs but I’ve just tried to block it out really. You can’t get caught up in all of that. That’s the worst thing, especially as a young player. I’ve just broken into the first team this season, so I’m trying to block it out and keep playing my game. The rest will take care of itself."

Who?

David Carmo.

Where?

O Jogo.

Why?

During Liverpool's defensive crisis last season, Jurgen Klopp's search reportedly for a suitable centre-back led him to David Carmo at Braga.

A loan deal with a £17million option to buy was apparently turned down by the Portuguese side, but according to O Jogo, the Reds could be back in for him this summer.

Carmo has since signed a new contract until 2025 but has a buy-out clause of £34million and the report indicates that Liverpool have made contact with Braga in recent weeks to sound out the conditions of a possible deal.
