Wolves vs Newcastle United team news as Bruce keeps faith in same starting XI

Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce kept faith with the side that drew 1-1 at Watford for today's visit to Molineux.

The Magpies have again opted to play Allan Saint-Maximin down the middle as a central striker while Dwight Gayle must again wait for his chance.

Gayle has managed just one cameo role in the Premier League so far this season.

Federico Fernandez continues to captain the team in the absence of Jamaal Lascelles while Fabian Schar has to be content with a place on the bench.

Bruce also named youngster Elliot Anderson - who played and scored for the reserves last night against Middlesbrough in 4-1 win - on the bench while Jacob Murphy was also on the sidelines.

Newcastle have been held 1-1 in the last FIVE meetings against Wolves and were desperate to break that trend today.
