Wolves vs Man Utd
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Molineux
Date: Tuesday, 2 April, 2019
Kick-off time: 7:45pm GMT
In his first away match as permanent manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes a swift return to Molineux - the scene of his side's surprise FA Cup quarter-final defeat in mid-March.
The hosts created a relentless intensity on that occasion, with quick-fire efforts from Raul Jimenez - said to be on the brink of completing a club-record £25million switch to Wolves - and Diogo Jota rendering Marcus Rashford's stoppage-time goal a mere consolation. A red card shown to Victor Lindelof was overturned by VAR.
Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves followed up that memorable win after the international break with a hugely disappointing 2-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Burnley, while United, fresh off handing Solskjaer a full-time three-year contract, laboured to an unconvincing 2-1 victory over Watford at Old Trafford thanks to Rashford and Anthony Martial.
"They made it difficult for us and it seemed as though we were still on holiday or the international break," the Norwegian said after a sub-par outing.
Wolves vs Manchester United team news and predicted line-ups
Seventh-place Wolves - who face Watford in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley on Sunday - appear to have a clean bill of health ahead of this midweek fixture, while Ryan Bennett is set to return from suspension.
Solskjaer, meanwhile, will remain without Alexis Sanchez (knee), while defenders Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian were both sidelined at the weekend.
Martial will need to be assessed after being forced off with a knock in the latter stages against Watford.
Wolves XI: Rui Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Traore, Dendoncker, Neves, Moutinho, Jonny, Jimenez, Jota
Man Utd XI: De Gea, Young, Smalling, Jones, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Martial
Score prediction: Wolves 1-2 Manchester United
Solskjaer will no doubt demand a performance from his team after that last trip to Molineux and a somewhat suspect display on Saturday to get his permanent reign properly off and running and perhaps return to the top four, depending on results at Anfield and the Emirates over the next couple of days.
United have won nine of their 16 away league matches so far this term and may well benefit from Wolves forgivably having one eye on their first FA Cup last-four affair for 21 years.

Head to Head history and results (h2h)
These two sides have met on nine previous occasions in the Premier League era, with United boasting six wins to Wolves' two.
There has been only one draw - a 1-1 tie at Old Trafford in September, when an early Fred goal was cancelled out by a stellar second-half effort from Joao Moutinho.
